Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Engineering Excellence: Take full ownership of product or feature development, from ideation to deployment and ongoing support. Ensure top-notch quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Champion Best Practices: Lead by example in coding, security, and application design. Mentor your team to uphold high standards and build scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver rapid, predictable results. Navigate competing priorities and remove blockers.
  • Enhance Agile Processes: Commit to agile methodologies and contribute to their evolution. Manage task estimations and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Build the Engineering Brand: Play a key role in attracting and evaluating top tech talent, strengthening our engineering team’s reputation.

Desired Background & Skills:

  • Experience: 7-12 years as an engineer at leading digital product companies. Proven track record in solving complex problems with scalable, service-oriented architectures.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Python, Java, GoLang, PHP, or C#. Deep understanding of web technologies, HTML/CSS, Angular, or ReactJS.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with distributed systems, cloud-based solutions, and DevOps practices. Proficient in Docker, CI/CD automation, and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Amazon RDS.
  • Passion and Drive: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a hunger for accountability and solving challenging problems.
