Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile
The primary objective of a Graphic Designer is to create visually compelling designs that effectively convey messages and information. The role requires expertise in branding, typography, layout, and a strong understanding of design principles and composition.
Job Accountabilities – Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze design briefs to determine requirements.
- Conceptualize visuals based on client or organizational needs.
- Prepare rough drafts and present creative ideas.
- Develop graphics for social media, logos, illustrations, and other design projects using design software or hand-drawn techniques.
- Select appropriate colors and layouts for various designs.
- Collaborate with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final output.
- Test graphics across multiple media formats for consistency and effectiveness.
- Revise designs based on feedback to ensure quality.
- Ensure all graphics and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand, and adhere to project guidelines.
Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Graphic Designer.
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing illustrations and graphic designs.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in design software like:
- Adobe Photoshop
- CorelDRAW
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Dreamweaver
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for aesthetics and precision.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Deadline Management: Ability to work methodically and meet strict deadlines.
- Education: Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
- Experience: 5+ years in graphic design.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design from a reputed institute.
- Additional certifications in Graphic Design are an added advantage.
