Job Description: We are seeking a self-starter who is an expert in Linux systems and has strong networking experience. The ideal candidate is well-versed in various operating systems and knowledgeable about tools and utilities to enhance efficiency. You will work across different projects and clients efficiently, utilizing your strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities. Responsibilities include automating manual processes, defining and documenting procedures, mentoring junior team members, and interacting with backend and client management to provide updates and meet deadlines. Good communication and organization skills are essential.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Expert in core Linux operating system
  • Knowledgeable about tools and utilities to improve efficiency
  • Ability to work across various projects, tools, and technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Participate in on-call and incident management
  • Automate recurring and manual processes
  • Define and document procedures
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Collaborate with application development teams and client management to provide updates and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and team player
  • Eager to learn new technical and professional skills
  • Security-focused

Expertise:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Linux System Administration (RHCE preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in Docker and Kubernetes
  • 3 years of experience in Application Deployment and CI/CD
  • Cloud Computing expertise (AWS certification is a big plus)
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Aerospike, Cassandra, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of VPN and secure connectivity
  • Scripting and programming skills in shell, Perl, or Python (preferred)
  • Experience in Database Architecting on MongoDB and MySQL
